ABOUT OUR GARDEN CENTRES

Chris and Lesley Koch bought a property on the R103 between Nottingham Road and Rosetta and opened their first Garden Centre in Kwazulu Natal, in September 2003.

Days before our opening we were hit by severe black frost that destroyed most of our recently purchased stock –

that was quite a devastating experience but we persevered and today we can say with confidence that we sell truly cold hardy plants. On 1st October 2009 we opened another branch at the Kwazulu Weavers and Waffle Hut site near Winterton on the road to the Central Drakensberg.

In 2010 Jacky the youngest daughter and her husband Albert Jooste joined the business and they are now the proud owners of the business. The main reason for our success has been the quality of our plants, very reasonable prices and our commitment and passion we have towards our business and our customers.
An additional factor is that we also try and source scares plants which you do not find normally at the Garden Centres.

We have an intensive range of roses and fruit trees and supply bulk trays flower seedlings.

We also have a small coffee shop known as Green Bean Coffee Shop on the premises that provides a beautiful, tranquil setting serving home baked cakes like Carrot, Chocolate and Cheese Cake as well as traditional Melktert and Scones. We also serve Makodor Coffee, Cappicinos and Lattes. Our Muggacinos are very popular.

Come and visit  you will be pleasantly surprised.
